Each of the 46 Co-operative Childcare nurseries will be opening their doors in January to welcome prospective parents to come and view their facilities.
On Saturday 17 January from 9am, childcare staff and nursery managers will be available to meet and talk to families looking into childcare options. A range of activities for children to enjoy will also be taking place during the open day within each nursery setting.
Mike Abbott, group general manager at The Co-operative Childcare, said: “Our open days are a great opportunity for parents and children to really get to know what we’re all about.
“We know that choosing a childcare option can be a really daunting experience for parents, which is why have our excellent team of colleagues on hand, to talk them through any questions they may have. The children also love getting to test all of the toys and activities, while mum and dad are looking around.
“But most importantly, it’s a chance to experience the great work our colleagues do, in a completely natural environment. You can see first-hand the room your child will be learning in, the colleagues who will be teaching them, where their meals are prepared and the kinds of toys and books they’ll be interacting with. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get to know us.”
Parents can also be in with a chance of winning an iPad Mini during the day, with those interested in entering the competition urged to register their details at: http://www.thecooperativechildcare.coop/openday.
Mr Abbott added: “We’re very much looking forward to the new opportunities 2015 will bring and to seeing all of the new faces through the doors of our nurseries.”
As well as childcare nurseries, the Mid-counties Co-operative operates food retailers, funeral services, pharmacies and a number of post offices.
