The children at Kiddi Caru’s International day nursery in Earl’s Court are looking forward to dressing up in orange and black next week and celebrating Halloween with a variety of spooktacular craft activities.
The whole nursery will take on an orange and black theme as the children fill it with their Halloween themed paintings, drawing and crafts. In addition the nursery’s on site chef will be helping the children to make their very own pumpkin soup to try. Children of all ages will be getting involved throughout the week and activities will be tailored to each age group, with any spooky story telling reserved for the older children!
Amanda Vardy, Regional Manager at Kiddi Caru, said: “Halloween can all seem a bit frightening sometimes to younger children so we wanted to introduce them to the idea but emphasise the traditional orange and black colours of the occasion through arts and crafts rather than focus on the scary elements. At this time of year they are very much aware that something is going on, particularly if they have older siblings, so our celebration aims to take the mystery out of it all and let the children know it’s fun thing to get involved in and nothing to be afraid of. Having said that I am sure by the end of the week there’ll be lots of cobwebs, spiders and other creepy crawlies adorning our walls!”
