On Tuesday 19th August, Banana Moon Hatton celebrated a very special landmark. The pre-schoolers were ending their nursery journey and over the next few weeks will be moving up into big school. To celebrate this exciting landmark, Banana Moon Hatton held a Pre-School Graduation.
Banana Moon Hatton had an eventful day planned. Not only was it Pyjama Day – in aid of Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, but Banana Moon Hatton had invited some very special guests from Tropical Inc – an award winning company dedicated to increasing awareness and fascination of all types of exotic animals. The Pre-Schoolers met a range of animals from hedgehogs, snakes and lizards to a very noisy parrot called Indy.
After the excitement of the animals, the pre-schoolers changed into their graduation gowns and caps and were presented with a scroll certificate for their time at Banana Moon.
Liz Scoular, Nursery Director commented, “We all had such a lovely day, we really wanted to make the day special for those that are moving up to big school and mark this very special occasion. Some of the Pre-Schoolers have been with us since we opened and so it was a big day for all as well as emotional!”
One of our parents commented, “Thank you so much. It was a fantastic afternoon. You have been great with our daughter helping her to develop into the little madam she is today. Choosing Banana Moon was the best decision we could have made. Thank you”
Liz Scoular added, “We wish them every luck at their new schools and hope they stay in touch and let us know how they are getting on. Once a Banana Mooner, always a Banana Mooner!”
