Finding the best resources for your early year’s setting can be challenging, the best way to make a decision on what to purchase is to be able to see and test out the products for yourself whilst asking any questions you may have face to face with the manufacture or supplier. Childcare Expo offers you this exact opportunity; explore hosts of products and services specifically for the early year’s sector all in one place with the added bonus of slipping in a few workshops, seminars and a bit of networking at the same time.
We know your time is precious and it is for this reason we offer bite sized seminars and workshops at the exhibition so you can pick up information and ideas from several different areas during your visit and go back to your setting bursting with inspiration and new concepts to try out.
There is something for everyone in the interactive workshop area. On the Friday, meet Natasha Dennis from Little Creative Days as she explores creative literacy for the early years. Learn how to select stories and relate them to areas of the EYFS curriculum, find out how puppets can help develop oral skills and discover how to use stories to help build an appreciation of people, places and times.
If you are looking to find ways to get kids in your setting active then ‘Jump and Pump – Let’s get physical!’ running on the Saturday could be just what you are after. Amanda Frolich, founder of Action Club, will be leading this exciting and educational workshop. Amanda will be exploring how undertaking a range of fun activities link to the Early Learning Goals including language and communication skills and children’s personal, social, emotional and physical development.
Entry into the exhibition, workshops and feature areas are all free and seminar sessions cost just £10.80 when booked in advance and £15 when booked at the show. To find out more information and to register for free tickets, please visit www.childcareexpo.co.uk.
