‘Learning is Child's Play’ is just one of the hands-on workshops that will be taking place at this Autumn’s Childcare Expo Midlands. In this fun session, Tania Swift from Inspired will be demonstrating to practitioners how to give children the opportunity to reach their full potential through physical activities.
Alongside Tania, several other early years specialists will be involved in the interactive workshop programme, which will be running throughout the two day show on the 26 & 27 September at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena. Jessica Williams and Francine Russell from All About Food are all set to give visitors some practical ideas for meals to serve to children that are healthy, balanced and nutritious. With lots of low cost, simple and effective ideas with an emphasis on utilising natural materials, Liz Knowles from Muddy Faces will also be at the show, leading a session that aims to give practitioners the tools and confidence they need to get active outdoors.
Registration for the biannual show is now open and hundreds of visitors have already booked tickets to get their early years update fix. Event Director Emma Barrett can see “that the reputation of the show is growing year upon year; this September’s show is drawing back the dedicated regular visitors as well as attracting many new visitors within the early years, childcare and nursery sector, who are discovering the show for the first time.
“We are pleased to be able to offer such a diverse seminar and workshop programme for this event as well as a range of other features including TTS’s ‘Time for 2s Zone’ and Community Playthings ‘Make a Lorry Workshop’. But, of course, it is our exhibitors who help make Childcare Expo the treasure trove of products, services and resources it has become known to be. With stands almost sold out, we are looking forward to welcoming back many of last year’s suppliers and meeting some new faces on the exhibition floor.”
Childcare Expo Midlands will be taking place on 26 & 27 September 2014 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The exhibition is free to attend with seminar sessions costing just £10.80 when booked in advance and £15 when booked at the show.
