The children and their parents at Kiddi Caru’s Colchester day nursery put their Easter Bonnet making skills to the test this week, when they competed to win this year’s Best Bonnet accolade.
The children and their parents, grandparents and even aunties and uncles all got involved, working together at home to complete their bonnets. The competition was judged by Kiddi Caru’s popular mascot, Roo, who had a very tough job choosing the winner from all of the amazing entries on Thursday while the children went on an Easter egg hunt around the nursery’s garden.
Laura Evans, Nursery Manager, said: “Easter is very much a family occasion so we thought it was a great excuse to get our families working together to make their Easter Bonnets. It sounds like they had great fun and the bonnets themselves were all wonderful, you could tell a lot of hard work had gone into them. I’m glad I didn’t have to judge the competition, I would have found it impossible to choose just one winner!”
