After a recent Ofsted inspection at Treetops Vicar Water Nursery, Clipstone Village, Mansfield, staff are jumping with joy on hearing the news they had been graded ‘Outstanding’. This is the highest level of excellence that any children’s nursery can achieve. This is a fantastic achievement and everyone is feeling very proud.
The nursery opens its doors on June 7th, 10:30-1:30pm for a Traditional Tea Party to celebrate this fantastic result, and everyone is invited.
Ofsted said in their report,
"The quality and consistency of teaching is exceptional as staff have an excellent knowledge of how children learn."
" Staff take account of individual children's learning needs, their family and the knowledge they have built of the children through superb observations"
Annie Tierney, Area manager at Vicar Water commented, “I am absolutely delighted with the judgement of Outstanding and it is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the Vicar Water staff team. We are fortunate enough to be an approved provider with the Local Authority which means we can also offer free funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We are so pleased to be able to now offer these places to children at an Outstanding nursery”
Lucy Ball, who has a daughter in the preschool room at the nursery said, “I am so pleased for the children and staff at Treetops at Vicar Water for achieving Outstanding in their recent inspection. It is totally deserved and not unexpected, as the staff work tirelessly to ensure that the children are cared for, are having fun and are learning. I cannot recommend this place enough”
