A Teddies day nursery in Bexleyheath has been hailed as ‘Outstanding’ for a third successive time by government inspectors in a glowing report.
The nursery located within a period building on Brampton Road was inspected by Ofsted in November, with the report stating that: “All children display exceptional levels of personal, social and emotional development, as they have extremely strong relationships with their key person.” The report continues to praise the nursery’s staff by noting that “Staff use their excellent knowledge of learning and development requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage to significantly enhance children's progress relative to their starting points.”
The report concludes that: “Partnerships with parents are outstanding, which promotes continuity of children's care routines, learning and development.”
Mandy Penfold, nursery manager at Teddies Bexleyheath, said: “We are so proud to be awarded an ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for a third time in a row. I would like to thank everyone involved who has helped us reach this momentous milestone. It’s great to see the staff’s passion and enthusiasm has been rewarded in such a positive way. We will continue to offer the best possible environment in which children can flourish and naturally love learning forever.”
