Staff at Asquith Nurseries Ltd are celebrating after two centres were graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
Maidstone Day Nursery, in Maidstone, and Ridgeway Day Nursery, in Swindon, received the ratings following recent inspections.
Staff at Maidstone Day Nursery were praised for the impact they have on the children’s learning and development, with inspectors noting that the “children are very eager to join in and experiment with activities and show a real willingness to learn”.
Proud nursery manager Nichola Cass is thrilled with the achievement. She said: “Staff have been working extremely hard to improve practice around planning and children with English as an additional language.
“We are so proud that the dedication and commitment has paid off, resulting in us being rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
Inspectors praised the “inspirational” leadership and management of Ridgeway Day Nursery and commented on the staff’s “outstanding skills that promote children’s learning”.
After receiving the rating, nursery manager Becky Webster said: “It’s fantastic to see the staff’s hard work and enthusiasm has been rewarded, and we are all so proud to have been recognised as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.”
