Staff at a Wolverhampton nursery raised more than £500 for the Teenage Cancer Trust when they held a charity Zumbathon.
The team from the Co-operative Childcare Nursery in Paget Road were joined by family and friends at Wolverhampton West End Working Men’s Club for the two-hour dance session.
The nursery is part of the Midcounties Co-operative, which has named the Teenage Cancer Trust as its charity partner for the next two years.
Childcare practitioner Tara Edwards, who organised the Zumbathon with deputy manager Kerry Smith, said: “The Zumbathon was really good fun and everyone enjoyed it.
“We are confident we will have raised more than £500 when all the sponsorship comes in and we want to thank all those who supported us. “It went so well that hopefully we will be able to do another as it is for such a great cause.”
