Royal Wedding fever really reached fever pitch at Stepping Stones Day Nursery in Nottingham and last Thursday, all the children, aged from 6 weeks to five years, put on the style and had a right royal knees up!
The staff and children came to nursery dressed in red, white and blue to get into the spirit of the occasion and enjoyed a big outdoor tea party at 3pm. There were banners and bunting galore with long trestle tables outside so all the children could enjoy a really royal street party. There was also face painting and lots of activities all day long including decorating flags and making crowns.
Better still, a camera crew from the local ITV news came and filmed the party and the children were featured on the evening news that day.
So it seems Royal Wedding fever gripped Nottinghamshire babies and toddlers too!
