Forest School is held every week for the Kindergarten children in the grounds of Hurst Lodge School
The children help to set the boundaries ensuring all their favourite spots are included within the area, including the log steps, crocodile log and the mountain. The children set off exploring, climbing, jumping and hiding. They introduce visitors to the magical Beastie that lives the other side of the fence. The children are very active using the whole forest space with lots of climbing and jumping. They listen to different sounds and explore nature whilst doing a different activity every week.
The children really enjoy Forest School and their experiences inspire lots of conversation on their return to the classroom.
