Job Summary

We are looking for passionate and caring Early Years Educators to join our brand new nursery opening in September! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new nursery from the very beginning, helping to shape the culture, environment and quality of practice from day one.

We can consider full time, part time or compressed hours. (such as working 4 longer days with a day off each week)

We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children, understands the importance of warm relationships and takes pride in creating meaningful learning experiences every day.

The role will include:

  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, families and the team
  • Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through high quality interactions
  • Planning and providing engaging experiences based on children’s interests, needs and next steps
  • Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
  • Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep times, personal care and transitions
  • Observing children’s learning and contributing to assessments and next steps
  • Working closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of the nursery day
  • Following nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour support
  • Communicating with parents and carers in a warm, professional and respectful way
  • Helping to create a positive, supportive and reflective team culture

We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable, enthusiastic and committed to giving children the best possible start. A full and relevant Early Years qualification is required for this role. We can consider Level 2 or Level 3 qualified educators.

Enhanced DBS checks and references will be required. The nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
