House Keeper

Housekeeper and Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and proactive Housekeeper and Cleaner to join our brand new nursery from August! This is a lovely opportunity to be part of a new nursery from the very beginning, helping us create a calm, clean, organised and welcoming environment for children, families and our team.

This is a part time role, working around 15 to 20 hours per week. We are flexible with the working pattern and can consider morning, daytime or evening hours. The role would usually be around 3 to 4 hours per day.

The role will include:

• Cleaning nursery rooms, communal areas and shared spaces
• Cleaning floors and keeping high traffic areas tidy and well maintained
• Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting items away
• Restocking supplies such as paper towels, toilet roll, cleaning products and other nursery essentials
• Supporting the kitchen with light cleaning duties where needed, such as clearing and washing plates, cups and cutlery
• Supporting with the general cleanliness and presentation of the nursery
• Helping to maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for children, families and the team

We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and enjoys making spaces feel fresh, organised and well cared for. You will be someone who notices the little things, uses your initiative and understands how important a clean and well presented environment is in a nursery.

Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or working in a nursery environment would be helpful, but the most important thing is a positive attitude, reliability, attention to detail and a willingness to be part of a warm and supportive team.

This role would suit someone looking for flexible part time hours in a brand new nursery setting, where their work will make a real difference every day.
