Early Years Lead Educator / Room Leader

Evergrove Nursery is looking for a caring, experienced and reliable Lead Educator / Room Leader to join our growing nursery team.

This is a permanent full-time role with a particular focus on supporting our under-2s provision, so confidence and experience working with younger children would be highly beneficial.

You’ll be joining a supportive nursery with an experienced management team, clear structure and opportunities to grow.

This role would suit:

• an experienced Room Leader or Lead Educator

• a strong Senior Educator ready for progression

• someone confident supporting younger children and guiding colleagues within a room

The role includes:

• leading the day-to-day running of a room

• supporting children’s learning and wellbeing

• acting as a key person

• supporting planning and daily routines

• helping create a calm, welcoming environment for children and families

• maintaining safeguarding standards and records

We are looking for someone who:

• enjoys working with young children

• builds warm relationships with children and families

• works well as part of a team

• is calm, reliable and professional

• can support and guide colleagues within the room

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification

• experience working in early years

• good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding

Desirable:

• previous room leadership experience

• Paediatric First Aid
