Busy Bees Nurseries are now looking for an extensively experienced multi-site Manager to join us as a Regional Director for our Edinburgh and Livingston area of nurseries.

What does a Regional Director do?

  • You will be responsible for driving the performance and the quality of the nurseries in your region. You will accept nothing less than the highest standards and ensure you have the best team of managers in place to deliver this.
  • You will provide extremely close support to Nursery Managers to ensure they are fully equipped with the resources and skills to successfully manage their settings.
  • You will use your strong developed communication, financial and strategic abilities to ensure your region is performing in all areas. This is a busy, varied and challenging role where no two days are the same. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and motivating all Managers within your region to ensure that they meet and exceed their targets
  • Complete visits and audits to highlight and address any issues
  • Share best practice throughout your region
  • Ensure all nurseries are adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Reviewing Management Information and implementing Performance Improvement Plans where necessary
  • Full and active involvement in setting operating plans and targets
  • HR Duties as required
  • Supporting the delivery of quality childcare with your own knowledge of the Curriculum
     

The skills set & experience

  • Over 3 years current experience at management level
  • Multi-site Manager experience
  • A commitment and dedication to deliver exceptional childcare
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal
  • Childcare qualification required and current or previous personal experience in proactively delivering quality childcare
