Acres of Fun holds an excellect reputation and was awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted last year. We are incredibly proud of our Nursery and Pre-School and are always looking to improve and move forwards. To do this we need high quality, committed staff.
Our staff turnover is incredibly low (many staff have been here for over 10 years!) but several of our staff are pregnant at the moment so we need some extra help. This is an opportunity to join our friendly, happy team.
You must be able to work, under supervision, as part of a team; assisting with all aspects of the children's daily care including their emotional, social and intellectual care; helping to plan and organise activities for the children; ensuring the children's safety and well-being at all times.
Qualifications not essential. Training will be provided.
You must genuinely love and enjoy children; be an enthusiastic and hard working team player; enjoy spending time outside (we have a huge garden); and have a sense of humour.
Hours 7.45am to 6.15pm 3 or 4 days a week (Monday - Friday).
NOT term-time only.
We take our safeguarding procedures extremely seriously so all new staff are required to have an enhanced DBS certificate and a subscription to the update service.
Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. Therefore, it is essential in making your application that you disclose whether you have any pending charges, convictions, bind-overs or cautions and, if so, for which offences. This post will be exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
