An exciting new opportunity has arisen in our Out of School Care services for an inspiring individual, passionate about supporting our families and leading our staff to achieve their fullest potential.

The new Assistant Manager role will work with the Children and Young People’s Services Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our out of school services and contribute to the development of the Out of School Care improvement plan, in line with the organisation’s business priorities, feedback from all stakeholders especially children, families and staff, and lead on its day-to-day delivery at service level.

Your time will be split between being office-based and time spent on the floor, coaching and developing staff, building and maintaining trusting relationships with children, staff and parents, and ensuring that the service is operating to the highest standard by being an outstanding leadership role model, embracing and being fully committed to the Indigo Group values and guiding principles.

What do you need to have to be considered for this position?

We are looking for a suitably-qualified cheerful individual with a caring nature, who will demonstrate respect and fairness across every aspect of your work. You will be required to have experience delivering excellent leadership and management within childcare setting, be creative, solution-focussed, and have determination to support others to excel. You will have a good understanding of quality assurance systems and how these are monitored to ensure services are operating the highest standard and have previous experience of implementing Curriculum for Excellence. Above all, you will have a passionate interest in helping children and young people achieve their best.
