Deputy Manager- Full Time, Acorn at New Bradwell (must be at least a level 3 in Early Years and have previous experience as a Senior or Deputy within an Early Years environment)


Acorn Early Years Foundation has over 25 years’ experience operating successful nurseries, out-of-school clubs and Forest Schools across Milton Keynes, Northants and Bedfordshire. We specialise in having a nature pedagogy and promoting the professional development of our staff.

Purpose of Post

  • To assist and deputise for the Nursery Manager as and when required, including directing and supporting staff as appropriate.
  • To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery, including monitoring and evaluating the provision.
  • To ensure the effective implementation of the nursery’s daily routine and the organisation of the environment, the curriculum and activities.

  • At least a level 3 in Early Years
  • previous experience as a Senior or Deputy Manager in an Early Years environment
  • Experience and knowledge on running an Out Of School Club desireable
