Bright Horizons Nurseries, awarded “Great Place to Work” for 12 years are currently recruiting for a Third in Charge to join our BRAND new Solihull, which is now open!

Solihull Day Nursery and Preschool is a 3-storey building comprising of 3 x baby rooms, 2 x toddler rooms and 2 x preschool room. It also has a large garden area and onsite parking. The nursery is located 2.5 miles north of the centre of Solihull.

The role is based in the Toddler room, is full time, and paying a competitive salary of up to £20K (depending on experience).

Your role as Third in Charge will include:

  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues

  • Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times

  • Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS

  • Overseeing the smooth running and high-quality practice within the room

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in times of need, which may include office related duties and opening/closing of the nursery

    You may have experience of the following: Senior Nursery Nurse, Head of Unit, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Room Supervisor, Room Manager, Senior Room Leader, Deputy Manager, Preschool Manager.
