This position will involve working in Mini Beasts; a fun packed holiday, breakfast and after school club!

 

This role will involve supporting with the breakfast club in the nursery, dropping children off at the relevant schools in the mornings and picking them up from school for club in the afternoon.

This is a part time role working 21.25 hours per week, 8am until 9am and 2.45pm until 6pm Monday to Friday

 

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about child care/development and ensuring each child’s safety is a priority at all times, together with some experience in caring for children, ideally within a nursery setting. You will need to have excellent communication skill and be able to engage effectively with the children and other colleague’s.

For this role it is imperative you have a Level 2 Childcare qualification or above, and have post-qualifying experience with children ages 0 to 5 years old.

A clear and valid DBS is paramount and overseas applicants will need a clear and valid certificate of good conduct. Please note we will conduct a suitability check prior to the interview.

This role requires you to drive a company vehicle, and due to insurance purposes means you need to be at least twenty one years of age, and will need to have held a full driving license for one year.

 

Your Responsibilities and Duties will involve:

  • Supporting in the nursery with the breakfast club

  • Dropping children off at the relevant schools in the mornings and picking them up from school for club in the afternoon.

  • Encourage relationships with local schools, charities, involvements with the community and taking children on trips

  • Contribute to a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children and the Early Years Framework.

  • Build good working relationships with parents and other family members, alongside management and other colleagues.

  • Assist with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery and assist in making the sure the nursery is clean and safe at all times.

  • You will be extremely positive and outgoing, with a real passion for developing your career as a Childcare professional.

  • To be committed to the safe guarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care
