Paper Moon Nurseries in Compton Acres near West Bridgford, Nottingham is currently looking for a Room Leader
Paper Moon Day Nurseries was established in 1990 and continue to provide a reliable and trustworthy childcare service. We believe in working closely with all our parents and have built up an enviable reputation for service over the last 27 years. Our approach to childcare encourages children to develop socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically. Most importantly we place the child at the heart of what we do, recognising and responding to their needs and interests. Our nurseries have been designed specifically to provide an environment where children and their families feel at ease and confident in our care.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and committed in providing high quality care, support & educational experiences for 0-5 year olds.
Responsibilities will include:
To ensure children’s social and emotional needs are met through use of an effective settling in period. With an opportunity to build supportive relationships with staff and their key person to make them feel safe, secure and confident to play and explore.
To implement the revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, leading on planning and ensuring children’s’ interests and experiences are embedded within their day.
To be confident in the procedures to safeguard and protect children.
Completing and overseeing the accurate recording of children’s starting points and progress in partnership with parents/carers.
Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
Promote and facilitate positive partnership with other agencies and parents/carers including other family members.

The successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS (cost will be met by Paper Moon Nurseries).
