We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Cook to join our team at our nurseries across London as a Flexible Nursery Cook (Bank Staff). 


The role is a flexible working position, initially, it will be based at out Hyde Park Nursery working full time for a temporary period (up to 3 months) after this time the hours may differ week to week. Our Bank Staff are part of the team.  The role of a Bank Staff (Flexible Nursery Cook) is to help support during busy times which may include holidays, sickness and training.  Due to the size of our company, there are lots of shifts available for our Bank Staff and can often lead to permanent jobs being offered

Your role as Nursery Cook will include:

  • Preparing and delivery of nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for all children aged 3 month-5 years
  • Planning menus, taking into account the nursery budget, the foods in season, local availability and nutritional requirements for children
  • Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation
  • Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes
