Shooting Stars Nurseries at Bromsgrove are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to work alongside their Nursery Cook
Scope of Position
This post requires the successful applicant to have knowledge of basic safe food handling and have experience of preparation, cooking and service of a balanced and healthy meals for children under 5 years old, catering for children with specific dietary requirements including weaning, religious preferences, allergies and intolerance.
This is a part-time position, working 10 hours per week between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Essential - A recognised CIEH Food Safety qualification
Health and Safety
To carry out routine health and safety checks and risk assessments
To maintain hygiene and cleaning standards at all times with regards to food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness, including the prompt removal of kitchen waste.
