Bright Horizons Nurseries, awarded “Great Place to Work” for 12 years are currently recruiting for a Cook to join our Great Cornard Nursery in Suffolk.

Your role as Nursery Cook will include:
• Preparing and delivery of nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for all children aged 3 month-5 years
• Planning menus, taking into account the nursery budget, the foods in season, local availability and nutritional requirements for children
• Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation
• Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes

You will also be required to carry out additional Housekeeper duties which include:

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all children and staff throughout the day
• Carry out regular stock take of supplies and orders replacement of supplies as needed
• Notifying the Nursery Manager when equipment needs repair
