The Review Score of 10 (maximum of 10) for Little Blossoms Kindergarten and Forest School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5 out of 5 from 5 Reviews over all time. This Average Rating is also the rating value for Little Blossoms Kindergarten and Forest School in Google's Search Results - more info

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 12 months.

Detailed Breakdown

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating of all Reviews over all time. For each review the Day Nursery / service is rated Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Poor or Very Poor on a number of areas eg Staff, Management etc. The Day Nursery receives points for each rating as follows: Excellent = 5. Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

    The Average Rating of 4.983 for Little Blossoms Kindergarten and Forest School is calculated as follows: ( (59 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.983

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 12 months. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with 'Extremely Likely' or 'Likely' in answer to the question 'How likely are you to recommend this Day Nursery to friends and family?'

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.

    2. 1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.

    3. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Blossoms Kindergarten and Forest School is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:

    1. 3 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4

    2. Target of 3.6 positive Reviews (18 registered maximum number of service users ÷ 5). 5 Reviews ÷ 3.6 Target Reached = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

I have found Little Blossoms to be a truly nurturing place that my little boy has flourished in, even in moments where he has been not so keen to go in, the staff have been brilliant with him and what’s more they have then updated me on how he’s been and how he then behaved, which has been reassuring and lovely to hear.

The outside environment is brilliant and I love that he is having so much time outdoors in the fresh air exploring, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Little Blossoms.

Thank you so much for your warm words!

My wife and I think Little Blossoms is a fantastic pre-school. Our child loves going outside and so the many outdoor activities they offer are perfect. Our daughter has loved going to Little Blossoms from day one. The staff are very professional and all the children who go are very happy and engaged. We send our daughter on a particular day when they are outside as we believe it is very important. I would recommend Little Blossoms to everyone especially if you don't want your child to be indoors all the time!

My child LOVES IT! We struggle to get him to leave! He loves the outdoors and talks about 'nursery' all the time. Enough said!

Wow! That is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing that!

We have sent 2 of our children to Little Blossoms Kindergarten and Forest School and they have adored it. The setting is brilliant. It’s in a fantastic location the children always get sent home worn out from where they have been really busy all day. Since becoming a forest school our youngest one is loving it even more. Keep up the good work x

Thank you so much for your good words! It means a lot to us as we can see that we are on the right track!

Both our children attended Little Blossoms and my wife and I are so grateful that we found this setting. We love everything about it: home-style arrangements, wooden and other natural toys (we are fans of imaginary play), Forest School sessions every day (our daughters learnt to climb on the trees and we think it really helps with their confidence!), extremely friendly and warm staff (became like a second family for our children) and organic snacks that are being prepared with children's help, so they learn to cook! With regards to the food topic, one of our daughters is very allergic to cow's milk products and nuts, so we are so happy and grateful that this was never an issue, because due to allergies, the setting organises snacks without the most common allergens, so most of the foods are vegan and gluten free (with no nuts policy). During festivals like Mothers Day, we always received some really nice hand made gifts, which the children, with staff help made for us like a natural hand balm! Splendid!
