48 Leopold Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 7JD
At Wimbledon Hill Preschool (WHPS), children learn from the unique SMART teaching philosophy, blending traditional British teaching values with Montessori and Scandinavian outdoor learning.
The preschool focuses on bringing out each child’s best qualities and to make them a truly rounded person. Each individual child matters to staff and they work closely with education experts and parents to ensure every child is fully prepared for the transition to the parents preferred school.
Outdoor learning is an important part of this curriculum, offering children the chance to connect with the natural world, with first hand experiences of life and growth producing endless opportunities for creativity and imagination.
WHPS believes nutrition is key to a child’s development and growth, not only physically but mentally too. All meals are healthy, balanced and freshly pre-pared each day on the premises with the children taking an active part in growing and preparing the food.

Job Title: Founder
When searching for the perfect place to look after her eldest when she planned to return to work, Malin realised that there was a definite need for better childcare in her area.
As a Qualified Early Years Professional with teaching experience in her native Sweden, she realised that a perfect balance of care and education could be reached through the blending of her knowledge of the Scandinavian and Montessori teaching methods with the traditional British values that she had come to love and respect.
From that she developed her unique SMART teaching philosophy and curriculum. News of her brilliant new nursery and preschool soon spread and within 6 months she was over-subscribed.
A constant presence in her school and known by all the children, Malin delights in seeing the enjoyment both the children, their teachers and the parents receive every day and constantly strives to create the most secure, warm, caring and stimulating environment for her charges.
