The Mayfield Centre, Broadway, Bradford BD5 9NP
Mayfield Children's Place opened in 2012, with a commitment to provide early year’s experiences to children aged 2 years within the local community, through strong partnerships links with the Mayfield Centre, Barnardo’s and Better Start Bradford.
In November 2016 Mayfield Children’s Place was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and it was recognised that “children can readily move between indoors and outdoors, which successfully facilitates their preferred learning styles and interests”.
The team are highly-qualified and focus on helping children get the best start to education, aided by a healthy and versatile setting with numerous resources.
There is support for good literacy, healthy eating and a happy outlook on life. Children are effectively supported during all of their activities, which helps to build children’s self-confidence and self-awareness skills. Through playing and exploring and active learning the children develop many skills through lots of fun filled activities.
