The Review Score of 4.9 (maximum of 10) for Redhill Children's Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 5 Reviews over all time. This Average Rating is also the rating value for Redhill Children's Nursery in Google's Search Results - more info

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 0 out of 5 from 0 positive Reviews in the last 12 months.

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating of all Reviews over all time. For each review the Day Nursery / service is rated Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Poor or Very Poor on a number of areas eg Staff, Management etc. The Day Nursery receives points for each rating as follows: Excellent = 5. Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

    The Average Rating of 4.9 for Redhill Children's Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (54 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.9

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 12 months. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with 'Extremely Likely' or 'Likely' in answer to the question 'How likely are you to recommend this Day Nursery to friends and family?'

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.

    2. 1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.

    3. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

The 0 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Redhill Children's Nursery is based on 0 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows:

    1. 0 = 0

    2. Target of 17.4 positive Reviews (87 registered maximum number of service users ÷ 5). 0 Reviews ÷ 17.4 Target = 0

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

Redhill nursery are amazing at providing the needs for each individual child! My son would not settle in the younger room so staff worked with him and along side myself to realise that he much preferred the older room, so rather than keep him in a room that he was not happy in they moved him up and he has settled great into his new environment and now loves to come and see what is happening in the room.

All the staff in the setting make myself and my family feel extremely welcome when entering the nursery, they are always willing to talk to us about the things that he has taken part in. Each session I am shown his vocal sheet which informs me of things such as meals and sleeps which as a mother I feel is important but the staff never forget the little things either such as the first time they joined in with a new activity!

The room is fantastic! the children's art wok and photos are displayed all around the room in fact all around the nursery - We love to have a play with the dear zoo interactive display in the entry to nursery! There is always plenty of things to chose from for my son to play with from construction to messy play such as jelly, shaving foam or gloop! The practitioners have worked on my sons confidence and got him to join in with the beat baby program where he sings and dance away - he has even started to show his older brother bits of this at home.

I cannot thank the staff in his room enough for the work that they have done with him, he is a happy and content little boy whilst in your care and that makes you all stars in mine and his fathers eyes - keep up the hard work you truly make a difference thank you.

Very welcoming staff who work hard to ensure full care of my son. The room is set out to meet his needs with access to outdoor play. The menus change on a rota and are suited to the needs of all children. Learning journals are completed showing his development and what he does throughout the day, also daily vocal sheets are done to pass on any information. The staff truly care about each child this shows with my son who loves to go and will often talk about his day and staff.

Redhill Nursery provides personal care for each child there. I have nothing but praise for the staff who work there - they make every child feel special (and adults!) They know when each child's birthday is - not just in the room the child is in but in every room, and when leaving, all the staff say happy birthday! They even made my dad a birthday card when he picked my daughter up for his birthday and sang happy birthday too.
They all know special events in their lives and celebrate with the children. My daughter has a wonderful time at nursery and enjoys going to play - I trust the staff completely and feel comfortable leaving her there. I looked at several nurseries before viewing here and when I walked in I knew it was "the one". Thank you to all the staff there - you do an amazing job!

My daughter attended Redhill Children's Nursery for 6 months and loved every minute of it. I don't have a bad thing to say about the nursery. Staff are friendly, always suitably dressed in work uniform, easy to talk to and ask advise if needed. My daughter spent time in 2 out of the 4 rooms in the nursery, they were also very clean and tidy and adequately stocked with toys suitable for every child. Dinners were widely ranged and my daughter loved the variety of food she was offered.
