NMT Green Award Winners -

Renfrew Day Nursery won the NMT Green Nursery Award 2012. This is a fantastic achievement for all the children, parents and staff at the nursery who have worked so hard to care for, protect and maintain the local environment.

Renfrew Day Nursery were also awarded Green Flag status in April 2012 as part of the Scottish Eco-School programme - an international initiative to raise environmental awareness amongst children.

As a setting we have worked extremely hard to get our green flag status by involving parents and children on our Eco School committee to share our vision of being a more eco friendly nursery and raise environmental awareness in children. This programme provides a stimulating programme for children which enables them to be responsible citizens and provides them with the knowledge to make a difference.
