The House of Commons Nursery offers MPs and their staff, House of Commons and PICT employees, House of Lords Peers and Staff, Press Gallery Media Pass Holders and Whitehall Parliamentary Pass Holders the benefit of a fully registered professional nursery environment with flexible hours to meet the needs of both children and parents.
The nursery is run by the London Early Years Foundation; a recognised charity and social enterprise known for its work in Central London. Up to forty children can be registered to use the facility, which incorporates many exciting play and learning initiatives.
The House of Commons Nursery opens each weekday 51 weeks/year from 8am to 6pm, although parents can make prior arrangements for their children to stay longer to accommodate late sittings. On Mondays and Tuesdays the Nursery is open until 2230, Wednesdays until 1930 and Thursdays until 1830.
