Vicar Water Day Nursery opened in May 2003 as part of the Neighbourhood Nursery Initiative. It is a purpose built spacious nursery with 4 designated areas for; babies, toddlers, 2-3 year olds and pre-school age children. It also has a larger secure outdoor play area and CCTV. Staff are qualified to NVQ 3 in childcare or in training towards a childcare qualification. The nursery has received accredited status via The Pre-School Learning Alliance.
