The Earlybird Nursery School is a key part of The Stamford Endowed Schools. It is sited in the beautiful grounds of Stamford Junior School, on the A43 Stamford to Kettering Road. Nursery education is provided for two groups: 2+ and 3+. All children joining the Nursery should be toilet trained. For the 2+ children it is highly recommended that a minimum of 2 or 3 sessions are booked each week. For the 3+ children it is highly recommended that a minimum of 5 sessions are booked each week and this should include a whole day. This allows visits to the Junior School reception classes. The extensive facilities of the Junior School, including the Sports Hall and the heated indoor swimming pool, are available to our Nursery children. During term time, the children have the opportunity to swim twice weekly, under the supervision of a qualified swimming instructor. The children regularly cook in the Nursery and enjoy using a wide range of modern equipment providing imaginative, creative, artistic, physical and musical opportunities. The Nursery has its own catering facilities providing home cooked meals.
