St Crispin's school has a day nursery for children aged 3-5 with entrance into the main school at 5. Breakfast Club and an Aftercare service is available. 5 sessions per week need to be taken in order to secure a place, either mornings, afternoon or full days if desired. In our Ofsted Inspection in October 2006 we were commended for the care and education for our pupils. We were awarded an exceptional Foundation Stage Profile analysis for our early years department from Leicester City Council. Children take part in many activities and outings in order to widen their horizon. A school mini bus is available for trips and the correct pupil teacher ratio is always maintained. Daily supervised use of PC's is encouraged and a weekly session in the ICT suite. Visiting staff teach PE, Music and Singing alongside the full Foundation Curriculum. First Aiders are on hand and the playground/garden is secure and monitored at all times. The doors are all key padded and parents are requested to introduce relations and friends who may collect your child from school. The emphasis in on 'every child matters' and we value an open door policy for pupils and parents.
