Review of Emscote Day Nursery on Friday 22 August 2014 by Katie Mordue (Parent)

My daughter has been going to Emscote House nursery now for 5 months. The staff are friendly and always there to comfort her if she is tearful to leave me in the morning. Previously my daughter attended a nursery which was less structured. I like that Emscote House is structured and although she is only 2, it prepares her for life skills for example waiting in line. When I have more children they will go to Emscote House as I believe it has given my daughter a great start in life.

Our daughter has attended Emscote Day Nursery for the last 18 months after moving from another local Nursery. Initially our main reasons for moving her were the excellent facilities, equipment and outside space available at Emscote Day Nursery, but she gain much more. The team are caring and treat each child as an individual. We’ve been kept up to date with her progress and we’ve been able to work together with the team at Emscote Day Nursery to further her development. There’s a huge amount of different activities and resources on offer. They have provided her with a solid foundation to start Reception in September. We find the team at Emscote Day Nursery caring and always striving to improve the service they offer. The quality and variety of the food is excellent and overall Emscote Day Nursery provides excellent value for money. We’d highly recommend Emscote Day Nursery.

We have been delighted with the way our son was welcomed and settled into the group. This was the second nursery we tried and we are very pleased with everything. The effort staff went to, to settle our son and the professional way this was done is one reason for our recommendation, but overall we are very pleased.

Emscote nursery is excellent, in terms of its staff, care and environment. The house is very well-suited to children's needs, providing them with a stimulating space to grow up, play and learn at the same time. It is always a pleasure to speak with staff and management about what the children have done during the day; and about all the future activities. The staff enjoys working there and the children feel this is a comforting yet playful and fun place to be ! There is always something new in the nursery for children to learn, do or simply to look at and experience - that's very inspiring !

Lovely nursery, good value, great hours. The staff are very friendly and always smiling, and the children seem very happy there. Food is freshly made on the premises, seems varied and nutritious. Very happy leaving my daughter there, and she always has lots of fun. I know its a very personal thing, but definitely recommended by us, at least to go and visit and see for yourself.

My daughter has attended Emscote nursery since June 2012 on a full time basis from the age of 9 months. The staff have been consistent and all practitioners are excellent - confident, caring, and working together as a team. Their attention to detail is above and beyond. The management staff are very efficient. The facilities are wonderful and varied. They toys and activities are carefully considered and the education my daughter gets through play is invaluable. Everything is clean and complete - great quality. I have absolute faith in Emscote House to care for my daughter each day. From food to play, everything is excellent, and, I believe, good value for money.

Emscote House is a fantastic nursery. It has a really friendly, relaxed atmosphere, despite being full of babies and toddlers. The staff really know the children and understand their individual personalities and how to care for each child individually. My son has always had excellent, caring, and most importantly, trustworthy key workers. My son loves going to nursery and enjoys all the activities, e.g. yoga, movement, and music, and all the extra weekly focuses, such as teddy bears' picnics, and holiday topics.

Excellent nursery, all the staff are friendly and helpful. My son always comes home happy telling me about all the things he has done that day. No extra cost for meals and they provide nappies which makes a big difference. I would strongly recommend Emscote House to all parents, I have found the care of my son excellent.

Having looked around other nurseries in Leamington, I couldn't find one I truly liked. That was until I met Mrs Jo Whale (nursery manager) at Emscote House and Becca (baby room), who reassured any fears that I had. My son has now been there 2 years and loves it. They have some of the best facilities such as a gymnasium which is used for dance, singling and yoga! and outside room used for messy play and artwork. The food is freshly prepared everyday and nutritious, so much so that my son always has seconds! Finally, the staff are fantastic and are a credit to the nursery. They're passionate about the welfare of all the children and strive to install the confidence and self esteem needed so that they're ready for the next step in their education.

Emscote House is a nursery in a lovely old building which, together with the excellent management and care, gives it a family atmosphere. I have always found the staff to be responsible and competent, and in many cases to have taken a genuine interest in our daughter as a person.

I have been absolutely delighted with the care my daughter has received at Emscote Nursery. She is happy and contented, has made excellent progress and continues to enjoy her nursery days (x5). The staff are warm, friendly, enthusiastic and proactive not reactive. They initiate any issues early and are receptive to our feedback. Management at Emscote is outstanding and reception is looked after beautifully by a welcoming, friendly and professional Katy. My daughters practitioners are second to none and I feel confident and happy leaving my very precious daughter in their care. Big pat on the back!!
