We offer a safe a caring environment for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. All our staff are qualified in childcare and have attended specialist courses to keep their knowledge and skills up to date. Babies and children up to 2 years are looked after in a specially equipped playroom with separate sleep room with cots. When the children are two years old they become involved in more structured activities such as art and craft projects and use a separate room with the appropriate layout and activity toys. The children join the nursery when they are 2 and 10 months and remain there until they start school. The year preceding school the children are involved in a routine that helps ease them into classroom life. Each week the activities and learning areas are displayed in the Nursery foyer to encourage Parents to participate in projects their children are involved in during their time in Nursery.
