Thames Valley Park Children's Centre is located in pleasant Reading outskirts, where it operates from the secure environment of the ground floor of a Microsoft building. The centre can look after up to fifty-two children at one time, while adhering to good standards of hygiene, nutrition and physical health thanks to a varied learning programme and range of games and exercises for children to enjoy. Staff work with children as they develop from baby to toddler age, with the intention of encouraging independent thought and the practice of as many communication skills as possible. An outdoor play area adds to the centre's many resources and a number of regular visitors include a number of different animals that the children can learn about and watch being handled expertly.
