Littlehurst is the Kindergarten Department of Hurst Lodge School. Girls and boys may enter Littlehurst during the term in which they are three. The Kindergarten is closely involved with the main school and interaction is encouraged between the older and younger children. The Pre Prep staff work closely with the Kindergarten to ensure a smooth transition from one department to another. Our aim is to provide for the educational and personal and social needs of the children in line with the National Curriculum. We aim to develop happy, self-confident, social children who are willing to learn, are kind and caring and well integrated with their peers. All Kindergarten children receive sport, dance, drama and music lessons as part of the curriculum. Those children interested may participate in afterschool dance classes.
