Review of Puddleducks Nursery
Posted: 27 Feb 2013 by Helen Williams (Mother of 2 boys)
I chose Puddleducks Nursery for my oldest son who is now at school and my youngest who is there now. They both have so much fun doing things I would never thought of at home. The friends they have made are very precious to them and the amount they have learnt is amazing. The meals are great and I have always felt that the staff really care for all the children.

Review of Puddleducks Nursery
Posted: 25 Feb 2013 by Joanne Smythe (Parent)
We enrolled our son into Puddleducks when he was 11 months old and he has been attending full-time, 5 days a week for the last three and a half years. We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision. The nursery nurses and other staff have created a real home-from-home, showing unconditional love and support to all the children in their care and providing a very special, engaging atmosphere within which all children can grow and develop. When our son was a baby, the staff were keen to learn about his individual routine so they could keep things as similar as possible to how things were at home, even asking us to complete a sheet of his favourite songs, games and how he liked to be cuddled so that they could be sure to provide him with the utmost comfort if he needed it. Most of the staff have been there a number of years and there is a real feeling of continuity – although my son has always had a particular key worker, I’ve always felt that all the staff knew my son very well indeed and I know he loves them all - he has always been excited to go to nursery and sometimes gets cross when it is time to go home! As he’s grown, become more independent and moved from the ‘Beehive’ baby unit, through the ’Squirrels’ room and finally into the ‘Owls’ pre-school EYFS area he has been constantly enthused by the range of activities and toys on offer, and we have been amazed by his progress: emotionally, socially and physically, as well as in the more general academic tasks like counting and writing. His favourite thing is the enormous garden and range of outdoor toys and the fact that he’s encouraged to don his waterproofs and play outside in all weathers. I am so glad we chose Puddleducks for our son and would recommend this nursery to anyone keen to give their child the very best start.
